After growing up in California, I moved to Iowa to be closer to family and then started one of my own. I miss the attractions and sights that California is famous for, but LOVE to explore new places with my family. At least once a year, we have to escape the harsh winter weather here in Iowa and go somewhere tropical. We have done tons of road trips around the Midwest and taken the kids as far as the Panama Canal! Most of our trips focus around being outside, fun activities, seeing new places and finding a beach, if we can. Travelling makes my soul happy. I also love to help other families realize it's more possible and affordable than they think.

I have been planning my own vacations for decades and now help plan couples/adult getaways, multigenerational trips, and tons of family vacations. I would love to help with yours!

Best advice: Take the trip and make the memories! I hope my kids remember all of the amazing places and cultures they have been able to see. There may never be a "perfect" time - just do it. No one has ever made it to the end of their life wishing they had spent more time at work. And of course, use a travel professional to take the stress away!
